Description: Copy of a letter from the Laredo alcalde to the Governor of Tamaulipas; the notes in the top right corner and bottom of the page make note of the fact that this is a copy of the original. Benavides asks for the legal age for men and women for marriage as there is nothing on the records. According to the letter there is a woman in Laredo of 21 1/2 years old who's parents refuse their consent.
