Description: Letter from Rabbi Newton J. Friedman to E. L. Gilbert discussing a letter that I. H. Kempner forwarded to him and thanking Gilbert for the proposed donation of Series F. bonds and his membership to the Hillel Building fund. He also mentions that they have found a desirable land option for the Hillel building and will be moving forward with architectural plans.

Description: Letter from William M. Nathan to I. H. Kempner enclosing the minutes or the National Hillel Commission Meeting. He believes the minutes will answer most of Kempner's questions. He requests to have the minutes returned after Kempner reads them. He also states that he had not heard from Kempner in a while and would like to know how he is feeling after all of his Doctor's visits.
