Description: Transcription of letter from Chester Nimitz to his father in Kerrville. Nimitz admits he is back in the hospital with tonsilitis. He then proceeds to describe a disagreement between his class and the Academy superintendent over hazing. Since Nimitz does not refer to the superintendent by name, but by rank (captain), it is presumed he is referring to Captain Willard Brownson, which would likely date this letter in late 1902 or early 1903.
