Letter from John Sayles to J. E. Pearson discussing that he is helping J. M. Chandler in Longview. He asks for a higher compensation so as to not have financial distractions while engaged in this work. Sayles also is waiting for a Supreme Court decision in one of his cases before he leaves Texas. He also asks travel expenses be covered both to and from St. Paul. Handwritten text on the first page: "Jack: Show to Uncle Henry. Dad."
