Description: Letter from the Chicago Concrete Breaking Company to Alex Bradford discussing the efficacy of hydraulic cartridges within the field demolition. The results of the Chicago Concrete Breaking Co. was that hydraulic cartridges were simply too slow and ineffective when compared to pneumatic pavement breakers in locations where explosives were not plausible.
