Description: A letter written to Mr. Thomas N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from H. C. Gurney, New York City, N.Y., dated December 30, 1969. Description: A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Byron Bryant, Alumni Affairs, Hardin-Simmons University dated January 31, 1969. The Alumni Association makes a request of Carswell to be the permanent representative of the Class of 1911-12 of which he was the student association president and, also, a member of the Alumni Association Executive board.
