Description: Photograph of the first school in Fairchilds, five miles from Needville, Texas. From 1930 to 1931, that teacher was Henry Ripple. From 1931 to 1934, it was Mrs. Anna McGar. The last teacher was Hermina Lehmann from 1934 to the school's closure in 1937. The building pictured is the living quarters provided to the teacher of the Concord School.

[Photograph of Dublin Grade School Building]

Description: Copy negative of Dublin Grade School, which was built in 1901 after the previous building burned in 1900. It was demolished in 1936, and some of the original flooring and native stone was used in a new two-story elementary school on the same site.
