Water-Cooler.

Description: Patent for an improved water-cooler by wrapping the outer surface of a water container with two layers of fabric; an imperforate projection–tube from a supplemental water reservoir arranged above the water container would moist the inner layer fabric and maintain its moisture; where the outer layer fabric prevents the water forcing through, thus keeping the water cool, illustration is included.

Stamp and Envelope Moistener.

Description: Patent for a new and improved moistener for stamps and envelopes. This design "is to provide apparatus for moistening stamps and adhesive envelopes; and it consists in certain improvements in that class of stamp-moisteners in which a roller carrying an endless belt of cloth is journaled on a box or a cup containing water, into which the endless band projects" (lines 8-14).

Animal Shears.

Description: Patent for new and improved animal shears. This design calls for a spring with eyes at the ends so that the handles of individual blades may be inserted through them. Then, nuts fasten the individual blades to the spring, which makes sharpening easier and breakage less likely.
