Photograph of the interior of a Masonic temple located at 1100 Henderson Street in Fort Worth. The room has high ceilings, with three decorative beams dividing the ceiling up into sections. The beams are sectioned off into twelve triangles with each pair lining up to become a divided square. In each triangle is a yin and yang shape made out of carved wood. The ceiling itself is decorated. Intricate, symmetric designs are printed on each section of the coffered ceiling. A balcony runs the span of the room on either side, creating a place from which to view the proceedings below. Tall arches create the "walls" of this balcony, and a barrier endures the safety of those who would stand on the balcony. The barrier has a small repeating design. The walls of the whole room are made of large, polished blocks of different colored stone, stacked in a staggered pattern. The main floor of the room is made of two darker shades of stone, also laid in a staggered pattern. There is what appears to be an altar in the middle of the floor. Four chairs with their backs to the camera, sit on either side of the altar, close to the camera, a solitary chair sits in the corner of the photo, cut half out of the frame, two chairs sit side by side on the left side of the photo, towards the other side of the room, and another solitary chair sits on the right side of the room. Each of these chairs is sitting in the sunken part of the floor, separate from the three rows of stadium seats on either side of the room.
