Description: Photograph of Post's Garage showing stucco retail building with Texaco gas pumps under the awning. Behind the stucco building is a larger gable-roof garage building sided in corrugated iron with a pickup truck parked beside it. Part of a raised nineteenth century cottage is visible to the right of the gas station. Signs on the service station include one for Studebaker authorized sales & service and Willard Storage Batteries.

[East Courthouse Square]

Description: Photograph of European Antiques sign and a street light on Clarksville Road. Passed the street sign the street changes to Grand Avenue and is the east side of Fountain Plaza. The buildings in the photograph exhibit the Classic Revival style of commercial brick building around 1916 to 1917 when downtown was rebuilt after the city fire.

Insurance Building in Downtown Paris, Texas

Description: Photograph of a blue building in the 200 block of South Main Street. On the north wall, there are large painted signs advertising "Sky Chief gasoline" and "Harold Hodges Insurance." The front door of the building is visible on the right side of the photograph with the same insurance company name written above the entrance. The building has been stuccoed,painted, and c.1950' front added. The color of the original red brick is visible behind the "Sky Chief" gasoline sign.

Description: Photograph of the Plaza Theatre in downtown Paris, Texas. This is an Art Deco-style building with strong vertical lines, arches, spiral-cut columns, white stone window ledges, column bases, cornice consoles, and dentil contrasts with the red tile roof, window trim, and trim at the ground level. [Cornerstone Building]

Description: Photograph of the south east corner of the Cornerstone building, at Lamar Avenue and 2nd NE Street in Paris, Texas. On top of the wall, above the cornice, is a white colored replacement for the original ornamentation. The gray cornice is supported by ornamental consoles and there are gray medallions on the buff colored brick below the cornice. These features appear to be molded, not carved.
