Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with George Brown. Brown joined the Army Air Corps in February of 1941. He completed mechanic school, and was assigned to assist in the opening of George Air Force Base in Victorville, California. Beginning in early 1945, Brown served as a B-29 Flight Engineer, completing missions over Tinian, Saipan, Japan and Guam. Brown continued his service after the war ended, and retired as a major in 1972.

Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Howard Boyd. Boyd was drafted into the Army Air Forces in December, 1942 and took basic training at Wichita Falls. From there, he went to aerial gunnery school at Harlingen. He was then assigned as a ball turret gunner on a B-17 and began training with a crew. Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Robert Doolan. Doolan joined the Army Air Forces in August of 1941. He trained to become a pilot, but washed out and was discharged. Doolan rejoined in March 1942 and went to navigation school. He was sent to England and crewed a modified bomber known as a YB-40.
