Description

  • Content Description: Photograph of Willard Watson's home in Dallas, Texas. A wide road fills the photo's foreground, with Watson's house sitting between two other properties. Watson stands on the walkway leading up to his house dressed in a dark cowboy hat with a reflective diamond shape on it, glasses, a button-up shirt patterned with cloth patches, jeans with a patch on his right leg, and a belt with a star-shaped belt buckle. He reaches out his left arm to touch one of the two white posts holding up a white rectangle that with "The Texas Kid" written on it. On top of this archway are large antlers and a weathervane with a rooster statue atop it. Extending from either side of the archway and enclosing Watson's lawn are single-file lines of rocks or concrete chunks. The lawn is cluttered with a menagerie of objects including plants, skulls, a standing pair of pants, a well, a wheel, small humanoid statues, a tall model lighthouse, and a humanoid figure on a small cow. On the left and right of Watson's lawn are driveways with a car in each of them. Watson's house is rectangular in shape with the long side facing the street and an A-frame roof. The front door has a triangular shaped structure above it, projecting out from the house's roof and shading the front door. On either side of the door in the front wall of the house is a window with dark shutters opened under a striped cloth overhang that shades the windows. In the background behind the houses in the photo are multiple leafless trees.
