It appears that Gray attended almost every session of the con-
vention and his notes, although brief, constitute an invaluable
supplement to the record.

Linn, John J., Reminiscences of Fifty Years in Texas. Victoria,
1883.
Potter, R. M., The Texas Revolution, pamphlet, undated, but a
letter of Potter's bound with it indicates that it was written
about 1878.

Wharton, C. R., The Republic of Texas. Houston, 1922.
Wortham, Louis J., A History of Texas. Fort Worth, 1924.
Zuber, W. P. A clipping from the Galveston News, undated.
The article gives a review of the history connected with the Texas
Declaration of Independence, and was prepared at the request of
the Texas Independence Monument Association, to be read at the
exercises of the Association which were to have been held in June,
1899, but which were postponed because of floods and apparently
never held. As a young man on his way to the army Zuber visited
the convention. HI-Is description of the surroundings under which
the body met may have some historical value.
