Party held in the Fredericks-
tmrp Hiph School Caferterla.
Favorite dishes, prepared from
recipes in the new edition, were
sampled by the larpe crows af-
tendlnp.
TTie 1,000 recipes in the cook
book are highlighted with a
special section devoted to Ger-
man foods ami another on the
preparation of wild pame
dishes.
Interspersed amonp the
rectjies are German sol pa ns,
and something new for this
edition are the suggested Ger-
man menus for sjiecial days.
The German names for the
dishes are included with the
F.ngllsh translation.
Attractive In Its cold cover
with brown imprinting and with
spiral binding so it lays open
conveniently, the took com-
memorates the 123th anniver-
sary of Fredericksburg’s
founding.
The first of (he previous
nine editions was published in
1910 when 300 copies were print-
ed. These and copies of sub-
