special mystery attraction
which according to Cindy
Rucker MSQ vice-president
will not be revealed until
Homecoming.
Homecoming 1978 is aet Tor
Friday and Saturday Nov. 3 and
4.
Homecojiing will begin with
the traditional Sunaet ceremony
in Wah WahtaytM Park.

Sing Song this Sunday after-
noon at 3:00 in Radford au-
ditorium. Tho thome this year Is "Where
do wo go from hero?" '

musical variety show. Admis-
sion is frco.

tion have tentative plans to co-
sponsor the homecoming dance
on Saturday night in Hunt P.E.
Center according to Miss

Cast Announced For
McM Musical Pippin'

Casting for the McMurry pro-
duction of the musical "Pippin"
is near! ng completion according
to Ms. Kimberley Stone direc-
tor. She adds that she feels a fine
cast has been selected.
Buster Maloney of Borger a
vetaran of many McMurry pro-
ductions has been named to
play the title role of Pippin
youngest son of Charlemagne
she says.
"Buster is I feel a superb
choice for the role bringing ex-
perience to the part" she! con-
tinues. "Bob Bein will make a mar-
velously dynamic Lead Player"
she adds. Bein a frequent player
in both McMurry and ART and
ACT productions 1b a junior
theatre major from Abilene.
Regan Lyle will fill the major
singing role of Catherine.
The part of Charles will be
played by Mark Horner of
Scottsdale Aris.
Mike Scarbrough an Abilene
senior will portray Lewis.
Taml Stoker of Plain City
Ohio will portray Berthe.

Be Chosen Oct. 24
Choosing of class favorites
will begin Tuesday Oct. 24 at
9.30 a.m. when each class will
hold class meetings and nomi-
nate candidates to represent
their' class.
The election of class favorites
will be hold on Thursday Oct.
26 according to Cindy RuCkor

"We are planning some spe-
cial things for the Class of 1928
since this homecolng will mark
their 60th anniversary" Strick-

will all contribute to the overall
spectacle of "Pippin" she says.
The show's many special ef-
fects including a simulated
fire on stage will definitely
challenge the ingenuity of Gary
Stephenson lighting director
she says. But she insists that aa
many of the show's feats aa pos-
sible will be attempted.
Mike Barry band director
will coordinate the music which
is she says a combination of
rock blues and jaxx.
Nancy Robinson will choreog-
raph the show's dance sequ-
ences and James Pearce'wlll'
plan the vocal arrangements.
Charles Dickey will act as pro-
duction accompanist she adds.
"Everyone on campus should
be aware that this production
possibly may be the biggest
McMurry theatrical happening
to day" she says. She stresses
that it easily could outshine any
musical or any play done
on any Abilene campus.
Workers in every area of pro-
duction are noeded she adds
stressing tho real need for wil-
ling volunteers backstage. She
urges anyone interested to come
over and volunteer today.
"Also we still peed several
strong male voices to round out
the cast" she adds. Anyone in-
terested in joining the cast
