Review of Situation

Gentlemen
You will find by an examination of my financial report that the association is considerably in debt. This was unavoidable - The Committee instructed me to go ahead and build, a good substantial shed - that would be safe - instead of using the hay for shed as originally contemplated - saying that it would require the same amt [abbr: amount] and size of posts, for the hay to make it safe and secure.
The shed was built, and all carpenters who have examined it say that it is well built and sufficiently braced to make it entirely safe and will last for 10 years.
