Garrison's court in Camden the other
day.
A gawky Jerseyman was on tho wit-

counsel Finally the judge said:
"Will you kindly speak so that these
gentlemen can hear you?' pointing to
tho jury.

thereupon lighted up with a half grate-
ful and half flattered expression and ho
replied: "Why certainly. Are they in-
terested in my case?"
