CANCER SEMINAR
The Health and Safety Com-
mittee of the Carson County Home
Demonstration Council sponsored
a Cancer Seminar Monday, March
17, 1975 at the War Memorial
Building in Panhandle.
Dr. Thomas Chalton, M. D.
of Claude was the guest speaker.
A film was shown entitled
"Breast Cancer - Where We Are".
Mrs. Frank Saucier of Borger,
a "Reach to Recovery Volunteer
of the American Cancer Society
Aalso addressed the group.
There were more than 50 in
attendance at the meeting and
from White Deer those present
were Medames J. S. Martinez,
M. Vigil,-Bruce Martin, R. W.
Standefer, Jr. , Russ Howard,
W. L. Lockridge, Jay Phillips,
Albert Thomas, C. O. Williams,
Loyd Collis, Dean Wyatt and
A. B. Bohannan.
The Cancer Society has the
film and it may be borrowed and
shown free of charge.
