Serving
Community Needs
For nearly 75 years the Dallas Railway & Terminal
Company has served the public transportation needs of this
growing community. . . Today, 400,000 workers, shoppers,
school children and visitors ride public transit facilities in
Dallas daily.
Dallas Railway & Terminal Company provides a vari-
ety of jobs to nearly 2,000 men and women . . . permanent
jobs at good pay. A large percentage of these employees own
their own homes, having acquired their property out of
earnings paid them by this Company.
One of the "top bracket" taxpayers, Dallas Railway
& Terminal Company pays substantial taxes to the city, the
county, the state and the nation, thereby lessening the tax
burden upon every citizen in the community.
We pride ourselves in being a Good Citizen of the
Community because we give active support to civic and
charitable projects and organizations and encourage our
employees to do likewise.
All these things we consider valuable assets to the
community which we have served so long and which we hope
to continue to serve with the very "latest" in equipment and
the very best possible service.

& Terminal Co.
