The Electra High-School base-
ball team won a 2-1 vietdi’y over
the Olney Cubs here Tuesday aft-
ernoon in the championship bout
for district 10-A.'
The Tigers, coached by E. E.
Williford, ended the regular seas-
on schedule with eight wins and
two losses. .They will meet hith-
er the 11-A or 12-A winners for
the regional bout next week.
Olney and Electra were tied
in their season records and it
was decided to hold a playoff to
determine which team should go
to the regional contest.
C. M. Harvey, manager of the
Electra Hospital, reports that an
almost continuous improvement
program has been carried on
during the past eighteen months
at the hospital.'

equipment, with many pieces of
equipment replaced. "Our operat-
ing equipment is in good condi-
tion and all essential items which
will improve the department and
he more helpful to the patient arc
purchased as soon as the need is
made known’. Mr. Harvey pointed
out. “We arc making a special
effort to keep evor corner and
crevice of the building clean and
sanitary. We have pest control
service which operates constnt-
ly throughout the year and ap-
pears to be 100 per cent effect-
ive".
