SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 25 WITH HOUSE AMENDMENT
Senator Staples called SJR 25 from the President's table for consideration of the
House amendment to the resolution.
The Presiding Officer laid the resolution and the House amendment before the
Senate.
Amendment No. 1
Amend SJR 25 as follows:
On page 2, strike Section 4, lines 14-19 and insert in its place the following:
SECTION 4. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be submitted to the
voters at an election to be held September 13, 2003. The ballot shall be printed to
permit voting for or against the proposition: "The constitutional amendment to
authorize the legislature to exempt from ad valorem taxation travel trailers not held or
used for the production of income."
The amendment was read.
Senator Staples moved to concur in the House amendment to SJR 25.
