. LOCAL TEAMS PLAY RULE,
! GIRARD DURING HOLIDAYS
During the holidays, the local
teams played two games each
with the Rule teams and were
hosts to the Ginard teams, accord-
ing to Coach Teel.
In the, first game with Rule,
Aspermont boys won, 66-56. John
Godfrey was high with 21
points, Gardner was next with
20, and Rogers third with 14.
When Rule came to Asper-
mont, the Hornets were again
victorious by a score of 79-38.
Gardner was top with 25 and
Rogers had 14. Mike Bailey and
J. Perryman were top scorers
for the Rule team.
In the Girard game, the score
was 89-44. Rogers paced the
locals. in this game with 26 and
Godfrey was second with 20.

TO BE HELD FEB. IMS
A church drama festival, the
first of its kind to be held in the
J South Plains area, will be con-
ducted February 11-13, 1960, at
I the First Baptist Church, and
! the religious education depart-
| ment of Wayland College, at
I Plainview.

Recreation Service of Nashville,
Tenn., the festival will feature
