THE GALLEON
The Sun
Tracy ianf
I sit amidst shadow at the table
the lowering sun missing me
I feel hidden
like a dream being shut away
Then a stream of bright, beautiful sunlight hits my hand
and I am mesmerized
The sun is so strong, so important, so vital
It takes me to a million places in my mind
a million separate, distinct moments in time
when sunlight brought me to reality
a second here
a minute there
The sun weaves a common thread through the tapestry of time
an exquisite, golden ribbon of purest sunshine
It breaks through my fog
and into my mind
the magical warmth burning off just enough debris
as to make a path to my very core
The energy from the sunlight mates
with my own inner Light and Energy and we, the sun and I,
become one
once again
and I am connected to everything and everyone
and all feels right for this moment in time19
