Extermination
rookie CJroW
Rumored that on any given day they could
Be deported to a distant, unfamiliar destiny -
Expecting violent expulsion at any moment.
Held captive in feverishly isolated quarters -
Cramped for space, yet all are accounted for.
Each carrying their own separate identification -
Markings that make them unique. Waiting
For their mandatory release into the anxious
Untold - tension mounting ... the death march
Of millions. Abundant moaning, crying -
Writhing in, is it pain? Hunger? Thirst? Need?
Suddenly barred doors burst open, all are
Forcibly thrust out - but their real journey
Has just begun. Left! Right! Up ahead
There are two ominous passageways - one
Could go either direction. Not that there is
A choice. As the flow is packed and propelled
Forward - thousands scramble in urgent
Disorientation. A suicidal mission to meet up
With a loved one - searching against the odds
Through the agitated crowds to get there first.
Afterward, tangled mound of arms and legs -
Naked torsos still covered with sweat.
Lying motionless, frozen expressions on their
Faces - glazed over eyes, lax composition.
Bodily fluids draining from their orifices -
Spilling wasted seed. Designated not to any
Particular wartime era - prevalent since the
Beginning of time. Mass Spermocide.52
