Downing relax a moment from hectic pace of
passing prom souvenirs and refreshments to jun-
iors and seniors."A thrill for all" was the agreement of both Juniors and Seniors
regarding the annual Junior-Senior prom.
The theme-A Cinderella's Ball-created a fairyland atmosphere
and enhanced the beautifully gowned young ladies and the well-
groomed young men as they danced to the full-bodied "sounds" of the
James Lee orchestra.
The highlights of the evening were a floor show, which featured
Lincoln's most talented, and the presentation of Cinderella and
Prince Charming-Geraldine Williams and Dallas Ford-chosen on
vote of senior faculty sponsors. Sophomore girls and boys distributed
souvenirs and served refreshments.Books." National Book Week was ob-
served November 13 through 18,
1960.
