gements. He also will ap-
point members of the Sen-
ate to the standing commit-
tees, subject to approval of
the Senate. As president,
he is also expected to
serve as an ex-offieio mem-
ber of any committee, and
will appoint special com-
miitees as deemed neces-
sary, with Senate approval.

Before leaving for Austin
Thursday to attend a week-
end convention for student
body presidents in Texas,
Cox said, 'Any student who
would like to express his
ideas or needs would be
more than welcome ■ to re-
late them to myself or my
associates. I hope that I
will be able to serve the
students of /TSC- with a
prosperous and unforget-
abl-e year.'
Military Ball Set
Fir Saturday Nigbt
The annual TSC Mili-
tary Ball has been set for
Saturday night, April 25,
in the Cave. The theme is
Southern Cotillion, and. the
dress is formal (dark suit
for non-military).
Playing for the dance
will be Leroy and the Ech-
oes, a nine-piece band that
played at the NCO Club at
Fort Hood on New Year's
Eve.
The dance will begin
at 8:00 p.m. and admission
is free.
