Miami is following the example
set by several of the towns along
the Denver road and compels the
negro to move on. One of the race
stopped in the city this week for a
few days but left very abruptly on
Thursday night, We don't know,
but it is whispered that he wag
waited upon by a crowd of men
about 12 o'clock at night who took
him down to the bridge that crosses
Coon Hollow where a rope was
thrown over the s ill of the bridge
and to one end of the rope was fixed
the black mau and to the other end
a large rock, After balancing the
negro and rock in the air for a short
time they were brought to the
ground and the negro turned loose
with the rock tied to him and com-
manded to leave town and drag out
his tracks with the rocks. He left.
