bad shapes" Browning commented. "It's just a
pasture."
The tombstones, Browning says, are in poor
shape, for the most part. One project of the
restoration process will be finding the base of
each marker and restoration of the stones.
In addition to the restoration project, de-
scendants of those buried at Old Macedonia Ceme-
tery are trying to collect a more accurate his-
tory of the cemetery and a better list of names
of those buried there.49
