Support groups planned News Brief
Support groups for women
who have experienced domestic
violence and for women and
men who are adult survivors
of child abuse will be held this
summer by the Crisis Center of
Anderson and Cherokee Coun-
ties, depending on the need
and the response received.
The groups will be held in
the center's Jacksonville office
at 700 E. Cherokee St. on
Thursday nights, with exact
times to be set later.
Anyone interested in these
two groups, which last 10
weeks, may respond by calling
586-9118 or 1-800-232-8519.
Please leave a return phone
number and indicate which
group is desired. Classes for
children will also be provided
while parents are in the group
meetings.
Groups will be conducted by
Debbie Cover, Crisis Center
counselor.
Amy and Rodney Hudson of Rusk announce the engage-
ment and approaching marriage of their daughter,
Stephanie Diann to Adam Glenn Wick, son of Tammy
and Glenn Wick, also of Rusk. The wedding will be at 5
p.m. July 14 at the Hilltop Baptist Church in Alto. Friends
