a.m. Friday in the Dickey Allen
F uneral Home chapelin Cushing
with Bill Shaw and the Rev, Lee
Welch officiating. Burial was in
Blackjack Cemetery at Lilbert.
Mr. Wallace (lied Monday in
Nacogdoches. He was born Oct.
22,1942, in Cushing to Leon and
Paula Peques Wallace. He lived
in Cushing most of his life and
was a member of the United
Methodist Church. He was a
retired sales representative
for Borden Chemical Company
and was active asa rancher and
cattleman. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran and a graduate of Ste-
phen F. Austin State University.
He was active in the Christian
Cowboy Ministry.
Preceding him in death was
his father. Leon Wallace.
Survivors are his wife, Judy
Lynn Wallace of Cushing; a
daughter and son-in-law, Lind-
say Paige and Glenn Dougherty
of Colorado Springs. Colo.; his
mother, Paula Wallace of Lilbert;
two sisters and brothers-in-law,
Nelda and Omie Winchester of
Lake Sam Rayburn and Betty
and Bobby Watkins of Webster ;
three grandchildren. Reagan,
Braden and Collin Dougherty.

1918, in Jacksonville. She was
a member of the Cove Springs
United Methodist Church. She
belonged to the biology and soci-
ology honor society at Stephen
F. Austin State University. She
spent mot of her life in the Cove
Springs community where she
was involved in travel, church
and club work and teaching.
She was a civil defense volun-
teer during world War II while
working on her master's degree
in sociology and biology. She
kept biology labs at Lon Morris
College for Arch Pearson. She
taught sociology for two years
at Stephen F. Austin State Uni-

Mrs. Carlile died Sept. 13 in
Tyler. She was born Sept, 27,
1933, in Pattonville. She was a
retired seamstress, a former day
care owner and past employee
of EDS. She was a Baptist,
a member of the Cherokee
Rebekah Lodge No. 165.
Preceding her in death were
her parents, Clarence and Edna
Beekman; a brother; two sisters;
and three half-brothers.

ing. Burial was in Resthaven
Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lake died Sept. 16 in
Jacksonville. She was born
April 5, 1934, in Farris. She
was a retired registered
nurse anesthetist. During her
career she was on the staff
at ETMC Jacksonville (Nan
Travis), Memorial Hospital,
Nacogdoches and retired on
the staff at Presbyterian Hos-
pitalin Dallas. She received her
BSRN degree, was a graduate
of St. Paul School of Nurs-
ing in Dallas and St. Joseph
School of Anesthesia in Fort
Worth. She was a member of
the First Christian Church in
Jacksonville.
Survivors are her husband,
DewaldLake andtwo sons, Gus
Lake and Avid Q. Lake, all of
Jacksonville; two sisters, Bar-
bara Williams of Wichita Falls
andPatricia Cole of Tulsa, Okla;
and two grandchildren. Dusty
Lake and Paden Lake, both of
Jacksonville; and several nieces
and nephews.

Tommy Treadwell, Jody Lake.

Co, with for 22 years service; a
charter member of St, John
Masonic Lodge and a World
Warllveteran. Preceding him in
death were his parents, his wife,
a daughter, three sisters andfive
brothers. Survivors are a son and
daughter-in-law, Stanley and
Sondra Johnson of Youngville,
La.; a god-son, Donnell Bradley
of Dallas; a daughter, Sarai V.
Johnson of Rusk; a god-daugh-
ter, Sharly Ford of Brazoria;
a brother, Wright Johnson of
Rusk; a sister, Vivian John-
son of Jacksonville; and three
