PEDIATRICS
Helping children
is what I love to do.'
Julie A. Taylor, MD, FAAP, was at the top of her class throughout
medical school and could have selected a high-profile specialty such
as surgery or neurology. Instead she chose pediatrics, mostly because
of her love of children.
"The other part of pediatrics I like is teaching parents about their
children's development, diet, exercise and such. I truly believe half of my
job is medical and half is education.
Il'/ listen well and I take what parents tell me seriously. I will work 7 7 0
percent to find out exactly what is wrong and will do everything in my
power to see that a child gets the proper medical treatment."
Jacksonville is fortunate to be gaining such an experienced and
dedicated pediatrician, but it's Dr. Taylor who feels fortunate to be
moving to East Texas. "Every single encounter with the people at ETMC
Jacksonville has been a positive experience. My family and friends are
really excited about the move. It was meant to be."
