Court Against Justices' Decisions.
Three appeals from the Justices' courts were
filed In the District court to-day. The cases
are as follows :
County Judge vj P. Burns el alt. in which
the County Judge alleges that one Claude
Duval not the derm monde a convict was
hired to the defendants and they have failed
to pay amounts due. Justice Adam decided
for the defendant and the plaintiff now ap-
peals. G. R. Boulevare vs. P. C. Ron suit on
note lor $44 52. The Justice decided for the
defendant and the plaintiff now appeals.
Uerman Elscnhauer vs. Galveston Harris-
burg and Sin Antonio railroad in which
plaintiff sued defendant for value of a cow
destroyed on the track. The Justice gave a
verdict for the plaintiff against which the de-
fendants appeal.

Kelly admitted the soft impeachment that the
