visions of Section 8 and Section 9 of Chapter 280, Acts of the
Forty-First Legislature, Regular Session, shall not apply to this
District.
Said District as herein created and established is defined by
metes and bounds as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the NW Corner of the Llano Grande Grant for
the beginning point of this District;
Thence South along the West line of the Llano Grande Grant
to the intersection of the North line of the LaBlanca Grant and
said West line; thence in a Westerly direction along and with
the North line of the LaBlanca and El Gato Grants to the North
East corner of the Alamo Land and Sugar Co. tract and the
North West corner of the Texas Minnesota Land and Irrigation
Company tract for the North West corner of this district; thence
South along the West line of the Texas-Minnesota Land and Irrigation
Co. tract to the center of the Military Road for the
South West corner of this District; thence in an Easterly direction
along and with the center line on the Military Road to the
West line of the W. L. Easley Tract; thence South along the
West line of the W. L. Easley Tract to the North bank of the Rio
Grande River; thence down the North bank of the Rio Grande
river to the South West corner of the Munoz tract; thence North
with the west line of the Munoz tract to a point 30 feet South
of the old arroyo canal, nod called the LaBlanca Lateral;
thence with the meanders of the La Blanca Lateral and 30 feet
therefrom to the point where the La Blanca Lateral crosses the
West line of the Browne tract; thence South along the West line
of the Browne tract to a point on the North Bank of the Rio
Grande; thence following the meanders of the Rio Grande down
stream as follows; South 69 deg 01 min East 2074.6 feet; thence
North 1 deg 12 min East 1053.2 feet; thence North 33 deg 52
min West 1461.6 feet; thence North 1 deg 31 min West 785.7
feet; thence North 54 deg 31 min East 614.6 feet; thence South
61 deg 29 min East 614.4 feet; thence South 00 deg 50 min East
3246.1 feet; thence South 76 deg 13 min East 684.5 feet; thence
South 81 deg 10 min East 737.5 feet; thence North 86 deg 30
min East 282.0 feet to the East line of the Browne tract; thence
in a Northerly direction along the East line of the Browne tract
to a point 30 feet South of the intersection of the La Blanca
Lateral and the said East line of the Browne tract; thence continuing
in an easterly direction with the La Blanca Lateral and
thirty feet therefrom to a point where the La Blanca Lateral
crosses the Military road; thence along and with the center of
the Military Road to the division line of the La Blanca Agricultural
Co. Grant and the American Rio Grande Land and Irrigation
Co. tract; for the most South Easterly corner of this District;
thence North along and with the said division line to the
North East corner of the La Blanca Agricultural Company's
land in the North line of the Llano Grande Grant; thence West
along and with the North line of the Llano Grande Grant to the
place of beginning.
