Henry Robersoa, robbery with

day, resulted in hung jury.
Frank Mitchell, charged with
murder, plea of guilty, and jury
assessed death penalty. This is
tbe case wbicb occurred at Som-
erville some time ago, and ws*
considered a most brutal mur-
der. hence tbe unusual result of
a death penalty on a plea of
guilty. Tbere has been some
talk of an appeal being taken,
but so far no appeal ba« been
filed, nor basdefeodaot accepted
sentence.
