REPEALING ATASCOSA COUNTY QUAIL LAW.
H. B. No. 30.] CHAPTER 5.
An Act repealing House Bill No. 943, Chapter 159, page 311, of the
Special Laws passed at the Regular Session of the 42nd Legislature as
amended by House Bill 37, Chapter 21, of the General and Special
Laws of the 1st Called Session of the 42nd Legislature, 1931, and
declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That House Bill 943, Chapter 159, page 311, of
the Special Laws passed at the Regular Session of the 42nd Legislature,
as amended by House Bill 37, Chapter 21, of the General
and Special Laws of the 1st Called Session of the 42nd Legislature,
1931, relating to closed season for three (3) years on
quail in Atascosa County be and the same is hereby in all things
repealed.
SEC. 2. The near approach of the close of this Called Session
of the Legislature and the fact that the open season for killing
quail is near at hand creates an emergency and an imperative
public necessity that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to
be read on three separate days in each House be suspended
and the same is hereby suspended and this Act shall take effect
from and after its passage, and it is so enacted.

Effective September 29, 1931.

An Act to amend Subdivision (b) of Section 3 of H. B. No. 239 enacted
by the 42nd Legislature of Texas, Regular Session, extending the
time for the holding of the election provided for therein and providing
the same may be held at any time prior to December 31, 1935; also
declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Subdivision (b) of Section 3, H. B. 239,
Chapter 161, Acts of the Regular Session of the 42d Legislature,
be and the same is hereby amended so as to hereafter read
as follows:
"Section 3, Subdivision (b)
