safety and community growth depend upon the bank
lac of money.
In the ease of the individual, hoarding money about the person or
premises endangers every waking and sleeping hour through fear
of loss by ft re or burglary.
To the community, hoarding money and keeping it from circula-
tion in the banks, retards thp growth of the community, and there-
by lessens the usefulness of the bank in its service to depositors.
Your own personal safety and your duty to your community de-
niami* that you put your money on deposit in the bank. We solicit
your account here.

The Hundley family were invited
«ut to Hix the past week-end to en-
tertain with a musical program for
the benefit of the church building
faad, a fund with which to build a
new Baptist church at that place.
Quite a large crowd gathered to hear
this talented family. With their mu-
sical instruments combined with their
voices, the many enchores showed
plainly the audience enjoyed every
lumber. The sum netted for the
church was $30.00.
After the musical program, refresh-
ments were served to the guests. Mr.
and Mrs. Hundley, Mr. and Mrs. Guy
E. Douglass, Mrs. Arthur Perkins and
little daughter Dorothy, Mrs. B. O.
