LESSON TEXT— Revelation 7.B Í7.
GOLDEN TEXT—Holy. holy. holy.
Lord God Almighty, which and la.
and U to come —Revelation 4:8.
A look into the future Is some*
thing that would interest most of ut,
and we have it in this lesson. We
agree with Dr. Wilbur Smith that
"this is an excellent opportunity to
bring to the hearts of our pupils
•ome of these divinely revealed
truths which the world, in its mad
irush today, so easily and tragically
!S>uU aside."
The portion of Revelation, chapter
•even, which is before us comes
Immediately after a section dealing
with Israel. The Church is not men-
tioned. The ones spoken of have
come out of "the great tribulation"
<as the Revised Version rightly
translates it) and are evidently Gen-
tiles who have some to believe in
Christ during that time of unparal-
leled tribulation described ü) later
chapters of this book.
* Our lesson therefore deals with a
specific time and a certain people
In connection with an event yet to
take place. But we find in this pas-
sage the description of the experi-
ences of those who, like Christians
of our day, triumphed through their
saving faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ. We may therefore here learn
something of the future blessedness
of the redeemed.
- I. Saved Forever and Ever (w.
§•11).
Salvation is a reality, and we are
never going to be more certain of
tt than when we, like this multitude,
stand in God's presence to praise
Bim for what He has done in our
Uves. It is real Praise God!
Notice that there was an unnum-
bered multitude from all nations.

mils direct. They wore
«lad la the white tobos of God's own
purity and bore in their hands the
oI victory. They, with the
, the elders (possibly repre-
senting the Church already caught
up into heaven), and the living crea-
tures (not "beasts" as in A.V. They
are divine beings of highest charac-
ter), ascribed a seven-fold praise to
God "forever and ever. Amen." It
is a glorious picture of' completed
redemption.
D. Serving Day aad Night (w.

II should be observed that even
those who came through the great
tribulation did not look to their own
or faithfulness to save them,

Now that they had reached eter-
nity through peril, toil and pain,
they would (according to many
folks' idea of heaven) sit down for an

their blessed Lord "night and day";

tive pessage In Itev. 21:3. 4).

Redeemer) who is in the midst at
