Easter Party
Thi Caldwell Home Demonstra-
tion Club met Wednesday after-
noon, March 21, in the home of
Mrs. L. A. Baxter and enjoyed an
Luster party. Easter daisies, red-
buds, hydrangeus and bridal wreath
liiOKBomtt gave a touch of spring to
the reception rooms.
The session opened with the
singing of Easter hymns with Mr .
Robert A. Love playing the accom-
paniment. These were followed by
a prayer.
Mrs. Joe Siptak, president, pre-
sided at the brief buaniess session.
Members responded to roll call
with suggestions for "The Fam-
ily'i, Living Room." Mrs. H. B.
Herrmann reported on the recent
council meeting, which she attend-
ed.
Miss Mary Virginia Surber gave
an interesting discussion on "The
Plans for a Family's Living Room."
Following this discussion interest-
ing games were enjoyed.
A refreshment plate of ice cream
and cake w«is served by the hostess
Guests for the meeting were Mrs.
I.ove, Mrs. M. Smith, Mrs. Clyde
C. Wells, Mrs. Paul W. Bogusch
of Brenham and Miss Surber. The
club adjourned to meet with Mrs.
Herrmann in April.
