Justice of the Peace Richard
Weichert, Jr. stated that death
was caused from gunshot wounds
self inflicted. A twelve gauge,
single barrelled shotgun was
found beside the limp body in the
chicken house about 25 yards
back >f the house. One empty-
shell was in the gun. Officers
stated that the barrel of the gun
had been pointed to the heart
and the trigger fired.
Whether or not Mr Valchar
had been despondent recently was
not learned prior to press time
It was said that he had been in
Houston several months and had
returned to Caldwell only recent
ly. Funeral services are pending

many criminals and law offend-

T, S. Roach, there has not been

violators with the exception of

which is inadequate and unsuita

clean-up drive and rat poisoning
campaign which will be held in
Caldwell April 5, 6 and 7 by the
City of Caldwell and the Cald-
well Chamber of Commerce.
