THE CELEBRATED EVANS
CORN PLANTER,.
IN calling the attention of the Farmers of tiiis
counly, Lavaca and Fayette to a new and
important invention, which is destined to accom-
plish a grand revolution in planting corn, cot-
ton, beans and peas, we state thai the machine
was patented and improved bv Geo« M. Evans ;
it is simple, durable and effectual; opens the
ground, covefs the gram with certainty, doing
the work of four or five Hands neater and belter
than can be done by any other machine. It is
made of wood and wrought iron, can be made or
repaired in any shop on any farm. ¡
All are requested to call and examine its
merits before purchasing. The Wolf Patent is
heavy, and the fastening and most important
parts are made of cast iron, and cannot be
repaired, should any part break, short of the
foundry. So the Farmer sees the merits of the
Evans Planter at once.
¡ Respectfully, . THOMAS SULLIVAN.
