Markward that R. W. Bishop is a
transient person, po that the ordi-
nary process of law cannot be
served upon lmn. You are hereby
commanded that you, by making
publication of this writ in some
newspaper printed in Lampasas
county, for three successive weeks
befogs the return day hereof, sum-
mon the said R. W. Bishop to be
and appear before nie at my office
in the town of Lampasas, in
the county of Lampasas, on the
3d day oí June, 1878, to answer
the complaint of the said John
Markward, for the sum of eighty
dollars, currency, due upon a
romis8ory note executed by said
W. Bishop to Newton Owens
for $80, dated on the 10th day of
August, 1876, and payable on or
by the twenty-fifth of December,
1876, and transferred by said Owens
to said Markward on the 10th of
August, 1876.
Herein fail not, and of this writ
make due return as the law directs.

A. W. Barrett is a transient person,
so that the ordinary process of law
cannot be served upon him. You
are hereby commanded that you, by

the Lampasas Dispatch, a weekly
newspaper published in Lampasas
county, for three successive weeks

summon the said A. W. Barrett to
be and appear before me at my
office in the town and county of
Lampasas, on the 3d day of June,
A. D. 1878, at 10 o'clock a. m., to
answer the complaint of Tilman
Weaver for the sum of §180.15, due
upon a judgment obtained at the
fall term of the District Court of
Lampasas county in a certain cause
in favor of the State of Texas
against A. W. Barrett as principal
and Tilman Weaver as surety,
which judgment the said Weaver
alleges was paid off by him as surety
for the benefit of the said A. W.
Barrett.
