C. MOSS tenders his thanks to
old friends and customers, aud the
public generally, for the liberal patronage
heretofore extended to him, ajid would in-
form them that the business heretofore
conducted by him will be continued at his
old stand by the said H. C. Moss and
Thos. S. Sweatman, under the style of H.
C. Moss «fe Co.
We having bought our entire stock of
goods for cash, are able to sell them to
prompt customers on as reasonable terms
as any firm in the county, and so pledge to
do. But while we are anxious to sell to good
and prompt customers on as good terms
as lias beeu done heretofore, we respect-
fully warn those who have never paid tbe
said H. C. Moss one cent, or but little,
and that little after many duns, and much
trouble, to be careful how they ask for
credit before paying what they owe. We
are forced to exclude that class of custo-
mers from the necessities of the times.
Goods now can only be bought for cash,
aud had we been dependent upon tbo*e
to raise money to buy our stock with, we
should have been "awfully wanting." Now,
to those whom we know to be able and
willing to pay for what they buy when we
call upon th*m to do so, we offer a large
