Legacy at Willow Bend prepares for
grand opening with mezuzah blessing

PLANO — With the grand opening approaching,
members and staff of The Legacy at Willow Bend
recently gathered to participate in traditional me-
zuzah ceremonies held throughout the community

"This is a very special day for The Legacy at Wil-
low Bend. It is so rewarding to have the involvement
of Rabbi Cohen as well as other congregations in the
area providing support and enhancing the lives of
our members," said Michael Ellentuck, president of
The Legacy Senior Communities, Inc.
The Legacy at Willow Bend, Piano's first and
only life care retirement commu nity, is situ ated on a
28-acre site at Spring Creek Parkway between Pres-
ton Road and Ohio Drive. It offers resort-style ser-
vices and amenities for active, independent seniors,
as well as all levels of health care services on-site. It is
a 501(c)3 not-for-profit retirement community. The
only lewish-sponsored life care retirement commu-
nity in Texas, it is open to people of all faiths.
The community opened to its first members in
April 2008. Grand opening activities are scheduled
for Sept. 21-25,2008. For information, call 972-468-
