et al., for collection of the

now pending in the District
Court of Starr County,
Texas, 229th Judicial

taxing units who may set up
their tax claims herein seek
recovery of delinquent ad
valorem taxes on the

the taxes all interest,
penalties, and costs allowed

Women's Association of the Fort Ringgold Golf
Course. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in
the Conference room at Diaz Enterprises, Inc. on
October 11.
It's a girl! St. Sgt. and Mrs. Silverio Garza, Jr.,
are the proud parents of a daughter. Dayria
Martha was born at 8:19 a.m. on Tuesday, Sep-
tember 18. She made her arrival at McAllen
General Hospital. Big brothers Silverio III
"Barry", 9, and Nicky, 5, are proud of little
Dfiyna, as are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas
Silva, Jr. and Mrs. Adela G.L. Garza.
It's a boy! Mr. and Mrs. Mario Pena are the
proud parents of a son. David Alberto was born at
12:18 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26. He
weighed 8 lbs., 7'a ozs. on his arrival at Starr
County Memorial Hospital. The Penas make their
home in Roma.
The first basket makers were
probably nesting birds.

DAIRY COWS-Texas dairy-
cows are "graded" on their
performance through a
testing program conducted
by the Texas Dairy Im-
provement Association
(TDHIA), notes a dairy
specialist with the Texas
Agricultural Extension
Service, Texas A&M
University System. The
program provides dairymen
with critiques, including
amount of milk each cow
produces, amount of but-
terfat in the milk, when the
cow should be bred, how-
much she should eat,
whether or not she makes
money for her owner, and
how she compares in
profitability with the rest of
the herd.
