In Recital
Piano and organ students of Mrs D.
M- nsell were featured in a Spring Recital
recently. The recital and reception were
held in ihe Velma A. Bass Building of First
Baptist Church.
"Old Fashioned Waltz" by Bastien, "He
Leadeth Me" by Gilmore, and "Bells Are
Ringing," a Schaum arrangement, were
playe^by Mrs. Tissa Peterson.
Mrs. Gail Ouellette played "What a
Friend We Have in Jesus" by Schriven,
"The Nail Scarred Hand" by McKinney,
and "Amazing Grace" by Newton.
"M- Frog is Full of Hops", "The Ice
Cream Cone", and "Deep Sea Diving," all
arranged by Schaum, were played by
Cecilia Garcia.
Gracie Saenz played "I'm A Little
Teapot", traditional; "This Old Man" by
Schaum, and "Old McDonald", traditional.
"Galloping Pony" by Canfield, "The
Wren and the Swan" by Schaum, and
"Down in the Valley," a folk song, were
played by Jerry Hernandez.
Cindy Munoz played "Lullaby in Doll
Land" by Schaum, "Solid Rock" by
Bastien, and "Twinkle Twinkle", a folk
song.
"Aura Lee," traditional; "Swinging"
and "Love Somebody" by Bastien were
played by Sandra Garza.
Norma Garcia played "Singing Along"
by Behr, "Little Swiss Clock," a duet with
Mrs. Munsell and "Lightly Row," tradi-
tionaf.

Betsy Romero played "Pet Shop" by
Schubert, "Riding on a Mule" by Schaum,
and "Beautiful Brown Eyes", traditional.
"Over the Waves" by Bastien, "Music
Box Dancer" by Mills, and "Hi Lee Hi
Low" were played by Adri Peterson.
Marissa Porras played "Theme from Ice
Castles" by Hamiisch, "The Dress
Parade" by Schubert, and "The Artillery
Song," Army.
"Spider Dance (Tarantella)" by
Schaum, "Music Box Dancer" by Mills,
and "Black Hawk Waltz" by
Palmer/Hughes were played by Ronnie
Lopez.
Clarissa (^arcia played "A.M. and P.M."
by Grief/Chopin, "The Three B's" by
Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms, and
"You're in my Heart" by Palmer
"Starlight Waltz by Brainard, "Nadia's
Theme" by De Vorzon, and "Italian
Caprice" by Tchaikovsky were played by
Sandra Solis.
De Ann Peterson played "Distant Bells"
by Streabbog, "Habanera from Carmen"
by Bizet and "Battle Hymn of the
Republic" by Hower.
"Waltz King" by Strauss, "Theme from
Ice Castles" by Hamiisch and "Sidewalks
of New York" by Blake were the selected
songs of Daniel Saenz.
Dina Lopez played "Dangerous
Journey" by Koelling, "Lilac Time" by
Schubert, and "Largo" by Dvorak
"Toreador Song" by Bizet, "Spanish
Eyes" by Kaempfer, and "Barcarolle" by
Offenbaek were played by Lori Peterson.
Brenda Gabert played "Love Solo" by
Dan Coates, "Colour My World" by
Parkow, and "When Love is Kind", Old
English.
Mrs. Kathy Falcon, who is also a
student, did not perform.
Mrs Munsell thanked all the students,
who in turn had introduced their guests
and presented their mothers with a
corsage. Each student also received a
carnation corsage or boutonniere from
Mrs. Munsell
