- Content Description: Photograph of the Ringling Brothers in Asheville, North Carolina. Many people line the left side of the street as a wagon train pulled by white horses with decorated harnesses. Several train cars are visible to the left of the photograph. The crowd consists of mostly men. The assembled crowd is witnessing the unloading of the circus train in a rail yard or at a crossing. The wagons were pulled by horse teams to the show lot, where the parade was then assembled for routing through the city center.
