Frank Knight has rented the
brick building, belonging to M.
D. Lankf'ord, located en Main
street and-will move his grocery

Just as we go to press atl2 e.cn.
a runner came to town for Dr. Bur-
nett stating that a horse had fell with
Bovvie^Morris isnd seriously if not fa-
tally injuring him. The accident
happened in this way: Bowie was
trying to pee/a ono-eyed' horse and
in attempting to head him from the
blind side, the horse ran iuto the
horse Bowia waB ridiag, tripping the
horse, throwing horse and Bowie
hard to the ground. We hope the
aczideut is not ho serious as reported.
Max O'Uell has been paying
compliments to women of all na-
tionalities ; although, on tire whole
he considers the Hungarian
women are the most beautiful
women in the world, he eays such
sweet about the others that none
of them will be disposed to claw
him, except, perhaps, the Spanish
senora. Of this lady he himself
seems rather donbtful.
Saya this genial Frenchman, jn
summing up: "If the law of my
country made polygamy compul-
sory I would make love to an
Euglish woman op a/air daughter
of Virginia; I woimJ have my
house kept by a German wife ; my
artistic inclination^! would trust
to a French woman/ a :i my intel-
lectual ones to an /American one.
Then, when life got a bit du71, and
I wanted my blood stired up I
would call on my apanish wife. I
would get it."
The Bast Blood Purifior,
The blood is constantly being puri-

Keep these organs iu a healthy con-

vou will have no need of a blood puri-
fier. For this purpose there is noth-
ing equal to Chamberlain's Stomach

We cannot make conditions—We face them—We dance with the times—Otir stock is larger than ever and want to tell
YOU about it. Our past record as clothing dealers has placed us in the lead and we don't expect to be like the hare, go to
sleep and let. the tortoise pass. We have added to this department a very nobby line of spring suits, in most every style,
ranging in price from $4.50 to §18.00. We didn't forget that it was going to be warm after awhile, so we got something in
That will make the fat man smile. We have a large line of summer coats and crash suits and an endless variety of extra
pants, both large and small. The time lias come for a CHANGE in your underwear. Inspect our stock and you will see we
have what you want in this line. We have ladies vests from 5 to HO cents and men's undershitt.s from 25 cents to $1.25 each
Have a nice line of Fancy hose and half hose anft great stacks of BLACK CATS and STRAW HATS. Notions appeal to
more people than does any other class of merchandise. We didn't forget this and can show you many .things that will in-
terest you in this department. Our goods are arguments themselves. f C#ie and investigate.
