Yesterday I presented the Three and one half milhon
dollar camoDain for Eenevolences to both the Tnrockmo-toni
and Ft Griffin churches which resulted in raising abo-*,
.?00 here and 3.5 at the Ft. The Quota was something
more than that, but this is so much more than was exoected
that we felt good over it. Had good crowds at both
places. I mad e an aooointment at Ft. Griffin for the Fth
Sunday in this month,and will make permanent arrangements
for regular aDoointments there later.
Last Friday night the Haskell [tigh School Seniors
came to Throckmorton with their clay "Slightly /ixed",
and as it rained during tne clay and on till oast rianing
we persuaded them to stay all night. I gave uc my room
and went to the Jarmon's for the night. In all there we17

9 girls and 2 boys.
tVhen I got tack to my rooa next Torning I hardly recognized
it. Two toys occuoied it,and they never tore uo
my library nor the clothes inside the dresser, ut every tl

thing that was exposed boyish rowdyism of the rowdycst
sort was Barely out to the test of endurance. They said
that they keot uo a constant noise and fight until 2 in
the morning,and I fully believe it from the looks of
things, Somehow I fail to see that they showed much
appreciation for our hospitable entertainment. As for
me

nevermore.
List Thursday night I went to the Wagoners for the
night ana had the best time possible. Annie May musthave
made a tremendously rood irroression on tnem while
she lived with therr for they undoubtedly think a world
of her.
