Eulogy "Singing A New Song" Rev Dr Robert L. Jemerson
Text: "O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous
things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he
openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. He hath remembered his
mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth
have seen the salvation of our God. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD,
all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."
Psalm 98:1-3
Recessional
Family and Ministers
Mama how do I prepare myself to live without you? John
3 16—For God so loved the world that he gave his only be-
gotten son for whoever believe in him shall not perish but
have everlasting life. I remembered what you told me
Mama, I am never alone because God is always with me.
The love of a mother is as close as you can get to God. My
mother's love was unconditional.
Mama I will also remember your words that I am responsi-
ble for my actions at all times. I am not responsible for how
anyone treats me but I am responsible for how I treat them,
according to God's law
Mama, as I told you m life, thank you for being my
Mother—teaching me the true and correct ways of life and
living. You taught me how to survive this hard core walk of
life, how to live in this world and not be of this world.
Thank you for being a living example to me as to the entire
family and your many friends. Mama you never met a
stranger—I could leave you just for a moment and you were
engaged in a conversation with someone, telling them how
good GOD is. I never could understand but by and by it
came to be that's just who you are. Oh, you could have a
strong hand and get the family in line when it was needed
and we thank you for that.
/
Out of all the many famous people that I have met and all
the books I've read, Mama you are my hero and everything
I'd like to be. Mama I will never say goodbye—I will just
simply say I'll see you later in glory
Love,
Carolyn LaVonne
THE TWENTY THIRD PSALM
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want He maketh me to lie
down in green pastures he leadeth me beside the still waters He re-
storeth my soul, he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his
name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff
they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies thou anomtest my head with oil, my cup runneth
over Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever
