Fulfillment
I have worked in thefertile earth and planted a garden, so
I know what faith is. I have listened to the birds caroling
in the morning and dusk, so I know what music is. I have
seen the morning without clouds after showers, so I know
what beauty is. I have sat before a wood fire with old
fiends, so I know what companionship is. I have walked
the path of quietness along the forest floor, so I know what
peace is. I have dwelt in the valley of remembrance of the
hills of home, so I know what love is. I have seen the
miracle of Spring, the fruition of Summer, and the beauty
of Autumn, followed by the repose of Winter, so I know
what live is. And because I have perceived all these things,
I know what God is.

Hymn of Comfort "Because He Lives" No. 106
"God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus; He came to love, heal
and forgive: He lived and died to buy my pardon. An empty
grave is there to prove my Savior lives, (vs. 1)
How sweet to hold a new born baby. And feel the pride and joy
he gives, but greater still the calm assurance, This child can face
uncertain days because He lives, (vs. 2)
Chorus: Because He lives I can face tomorrow; Because He
lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future and life
is worth the living just because He lives."

'Still Standing"
Rev. Robert L. Jemerson
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, Stand therefore,
having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate
of righteousness." Ephesians 6:11-14
